Anti-racists are rallying to protect the Holiday Inn Express hotel that has been used to accommodate refugees and has been targeted by fascists intent on violence, as seen elsewhere in the country.

Sky News

Doesn’t mention that Stand Up to Racism organised he protest, but a decent report nevertheless:

Bathgate says refugees are welcome here

SUTR/West Lothian TUC counter demo in Bathgate last night. 150 of us, 5 Nazis who on seeing the anti-racist throng, chose not to assemble. EIS, ASLEF, FBU, UNISON, PCS, NASUWT, Unite, Stop the War represented.

The most moving thing was seeing all the refugees waving at us from behind the locked doors of the hotel. Support for these refugees will be ongoing.
