A well-attended Stand Up to Racism fringe meeting took place at the Labour Party Conference on Sunday 22nd October.
Conference delegates heard from keynote speakers Dawn Butler MP, Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, Richard Burgon MP, the FBU’s Matt Wrack, NEU’s Daniel Kebede, Zara Mohammed (Muslim Council of Britain general secretary), Edie Friedman (Jewish race equality and refugee rights campaigner), Ricardo la Torre (FBU) and Mish Rahman (Labour NEC personal capacity).
The meeting was chaired by SUTR co-convenor Sabby Dhalu.
