Suella Bravermanā€™s talk of a ā€˜hurricaneā€™ of refugees coming into Britain crossed a line.Ā

She is using the kind of scapegoating language that is stirring up hatred and fear and opening the door to the racists and the far right.Ā

Braverman went still further, saying that attacks on women and LGBT+ people should not give them the right to claim asylum.Ā

The Braverman and the government have also widened the attack on the right to protest targeting BLM, climate activists and other campaign and solidarity groups.Ā

We all need to come together to stop the scapegoating, hate and division coming from Braverman and the Sunak government.

Braverman has to go #BravermanOut #RefugeesWelcomeĀ

Stand Up to Racism international conference
Resisting the Rise of Racism and Fascism

SUNDAY 19 November Ā· a hybrid event – taking place at a central London venue and fully accessible online Ā·

The anti racist movement needs you at this conference…

Braverman and the Sunak government’s racist lurch rightwards is creating misery for refugees and migrants, while fanning the flames of the far right who, as Llanelli shows, pose a threat if left unchallenged.

Now on Sunday 19 November, we will come together for this participatory conference to discuss, share, and learn from the experiences of  countering far right and fascists who are attempting to capitalise on the lurch rightwards conducted by Braverman and Sunak’s cabinet.

We have to organise, urgently, to create and develop an effective, united fighting anti racist movement that can resist their racist offensive…

The conference will now come after the protest on Saturday 4 November at the Home Office to #StopBraverman, for #UnityNotDivision and to say loud and clear #RefugeesWelcome

Don’t miss the conference – don’t miss the action…
