This union branch/ region/ executive/ trades council notes:

1) The growing threat posed by the far right.

2) A second summer of often violent protests outside refugee accommodation across Britain.

3) That mainstream politicians and the media have given legitimacy to far right narratives.

4) That far right Reform UK are set to make a breakthrough at the upcoming local elections in England and national elections in Wales and Scotland.

5) Fascist Tommy Robinson headed up the biggest far right led demo in British history in September 2025.

6) The formation of the ‘Together Alliance’ and the call for a mass mobilisation against the far right on Saturday 28 March.

This union branch/ region/ executive/ trades council believes:

1) That growing support for the far right endangers the unity of every workplace and community.

2) That trade unions have to play the central role in mobilising against the far right and in maintaining unity amongst working class people.

3) That the ‘Together’ demonstration is crucial in developing the confidence of those opposing the far right.

4) That we will need systematic campaigning against the far right in upcoming elections.

5) That we need discussion, training and organisation in every workplace to combat the ideas of the far right.

This union branch/ region/ executive/ trades council resolves:

1) To mobilise for the 28 March, maximising transport and participation in the demo, including organising activity for the next workplace day of action on Thursday 5 March.

2) To encourage members to join campaigning activities against Reform UK initiated by the trade unions, the Together Alliance, Stand Up To Racism & other antiracist organisations.

3) To organise antiracist training in our workplaces.

4) To encourage the formations of ‘workers against the far right’ organisation in every workplace.
