August sees the return to the streets of one of Britain’s most important cultural celebrations: the Notting Hill Carnival will take place on  27 – 28 August  2023.

Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) is again gearing up for a strong showing on the streets for carnival, bringing the anti racist message and partying with a purpose…

We want you to join us in the carnival parade – follow this link to register!

The theme of the 2023 Notting Hill Carnival float seeks to celebrate workers’ collective resistance during a time of multiple crises by paying tribute to key struggles of the 1970s. The float will act as a tribute to the historical role of carnival as a form of cultural resistance during economic and social crises. Today we draw strength from past collective struggles as we fight for a just society.
