Last weekend we were hit by the combination of the horror of the fascist attack on a Synagogue in Pittsburgh in the US where 11 were gunned down, and of the alarming news of election of far right Jair Bolsanaro as president in Brazil who defended the murderous military dictatorship of 1964 to 1985. It was a weekend that drove home the urgent need to mobilise against the far right, fascism and racism.

These chilling events underlined why, in the wake of a growth in the far right here in Britain, it is essential that we come together as a mass anti-racist movement and give expression to the voice of the anti-racist majority.
