The release of Nazi Tommy Robinson on bail, following his arrest for contempt of court, has given confidence to racists and fascists. His release is seen as a victory for a campaign that was led by key far right figures internationally.
Robinson is no hero. He’s not the voice of the forgotten “white working class” or a champion of free speech.
An ex-British National Party member, Robinson, he also led the violent English Defence League. He aims to divide us and to scapegoat Muslims and migrants.
