800 anti-fascists in Islington defend refugees, massively outnumber far right

islington stop the far right 2nd august

Congratulations to everyone that joined the demonstration is Islington on Saturday. Our anti-fascist side was 800-strong and brilliant, militant and lively!

The fascists had a maximum of 200 and will have been demoralised after we flooded the streets with anti-fascist chants, banners and unity on our side.

The demonstration was called by Stand Up to Racism and Islington Independents.
