We ask all politicians, trade unions, community groups, campaigns, faith organisations, human rights groups and individuals to sign this pledge not to allow racism to be used to divide us in the general election campaign and promote the following demands:
- Stop Rwanda Plan – Release all detained in shock raids – implement safe passage and legal routes to claim asylum now
- Repeal the Rwanda Plan, Illegal Migration Act and Nationality and Borders Act – decriminalise the right to seek asylum
- Refugees are welcome here!
- Let those seeking asylum work
- Allow refugees free NHS treatment
- Migrant workers not to blame – scrap Immigration Health Charge – no charges for Visas
- Stop Islamophobia and oppose the demonisation of Muslims
- Scrap Prevent Program
- Build unity against racism, Islamophobia and antisemitism – oppose the far right and fascism
- No platform to Nazis
- Justice for Windrush –
- Justice for Grenfell
- Justice for Child Q – no strip searching of children in schools
- Police off our schools and campuses
- Reparatory justice from those who benefited from the slave trade
- Reclaim black history from colonial narratives in education and cultural institutions
